DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES
Lock In – Finish or Fail is a self-discipline, habit accountability, and goal-tracking application designed to help users establish structured personal commitments.
The application enables users to create self-directed challenge periods (“Runs”) based on selected parameters and app-defined operational rules.
The Services are provided for personal productivity and self-management purposes only.
ACCOUNT REGISTRATION & ACCESS
To access certain functionality, users may be required to create an account.
Account access may be available through:
- Email and password authentication
- Sign in with Apple
You agree to provide accurate information and maintain the security of your login credentials.
You are solely responsible for:
- Maintaining account confidentiality
- Activity occurring under your account
- Securing access to your device
- Promptly reporting unauthorized access
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate access where account misuse, security concerns, or policy violations are identified.
CORE APP FUNCTIONALITY
Lock In – Finish or Fail operates through structured challenge-based progression.
When initiating a Run, users may be asked to select parameters that may include:
- A defined challenge duration
- One or more personal goals
- A maximum permitted number of missed days
During an active Run:
- Goals are tracked within the application
- Daily progression is recorded
- Missed days may be counted based on application logic
- Check-in functionality may be subject to completion requirements
- Run progression is governed by the operational rules of the application
Users acknowledge that app functionality is intentionally structured around commitment-based accountability.
DAILY CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS
The application may require users to complete operational requirements before a daily check-in becomes available.
This includes, where applicable, completion or marking complete of all selected goals for the applicable day.
Users acknowledge and agree that:
- Daily check-in functionality is governed by app logic
- Failure to satisfy required conditions may prevent check-in availability
- Check-in eligibility is not guaranteed absent completion of required actions
Responsibility for completing required daily actions remains solely with the user.
MISSED DAYS, RUN STATUS, AND LOCK FUNCTIONALITY
Run progression is governed by the user’s selected challenge parameters and the operational logic of the application.
Users acknowledge that active Runs are structured around commitment-based accountability and consequence-driven progression.
Where a user exceeds the maximum permitted number of missed days associated with an active Run, the affected Run may be designated as failed and permanently locked in accordance with the application’s intended functionality.
Users expressly acknowledge and agree that:
- Run outcomes are determined by the application’s operational rules
- Missed-day calculations are based on app-defined logic
- A permanently locked Run cannot be resumed by the user through normal app functionality
- Lockout is an intentional core feature of the Services and not a software malfunction
The application may provide a method for users to contact support regarding account or operational matters; however, submission of a support request does not guarantee restoration, unlocking, reinstatement, or modification of any Run state.
Users are responsible for understanding the operational consequences of beginning a Run before participating.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
Users are solely responsible for their use of the Services.
This includes responsibility for:
- Monitoring active Runs
- Completing selected goals
- Checking in where applicable

We are not responsible for missed progression or altered outcomes resulting from:

The Services may offer optional push notifications.
These notifications may include:
- Daily reminders
- Check-in notices

Notification delivery is dependent on device settings, operating system behavior, permissions, connectivity, and third-party infrastructure.
We do not guarantee notification delivery, timing, visibility, or receipt.
